Previously, OJ worked at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm where she advised and supported executive clients on talent strategy, CEO succession, and professional development. Working closely with Bain’s Chief Talent Officer, OJ developed Bain’s internal recruiting and career mobility function where she and her team drove a behavioral and cultural change that empowered employees to create their own career paths and ultimately, contribute to the business in meaningful and impactful ways. Prior to Bain & Company, OJ spent close to 10 years working in recruitment and executive search in both Canada and the UK with companies like Russell Reynolds and Heidrick & Struggles. OJ received her Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University with a major in marketing and a minor in Japanese language and culture. She is a graduate of the coach training program at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and is a Certified Coactive Professional Coach (CPCC).

OJ is recognized as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is an affiliate member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean, a Harvard Medical School affiliate that ensures scientific integrity in the field of coaching.
